Applications for the Master of Advanced Social Work are accepted for entry in both Semester 1 and 2. Please ensure you meet the Admission requirements before applying.
Local applicants (Australian and New Zealand citizens and Australian permanent residents) should apply directly to the University through the online application system.

Indigenous applicants
The University’s Centre for Indigenous Education (CIE) offers assistance and support with course and scholarship applications.
International applicants should apply through the University of Melbourne’s International Admissions Office. Applicants can apply online, download an application form or request one be sent.
International applicants are advised to contact the Department of Immigration, Multicultural and Indigenous Affairs (DIMIA) at the nearest Australian Embassy for advice about visas and immigration.
Applications for the Master of Advanced Social Work are accepted on a rolling basis throughout the year.
Deadlines are governed by subject commencement dates - you need to lodge your application at least two weeks before the commencement date of your first subject to allow for assessment and turnaround time.
