The Parkville campus is on 22.5 hectares in the cosmopolitan inner-city suburb of Carlton. There is a vast array of social, recreational and cultural clubs and activities offered in an attractive, safe environment. The Student Union is a point of contact for students from diverse disciplines and cultures.
Social Work is located at 234 Queensberry Street in Carlton, just south of the main campus.
Teaching takes place at Queensberry Street and on the main campus as well as in our partner social services agencies. We have an active research student cohort whose office space is co-located with Social Work's academic and administrative staff.
Social Work is a short walk from the city of Melbourne and the Queen Victoria Market. Many students live on or near the campus, which is ideal for international students as it gives you the opportunity to get to know the city and the campus. The University's Student Housing Services can help you with information about student accommodation.
