2012 mid-year entry
Limited spaces for 2012 mid-year entry into the Master of Social Work are now open for application.
- Submission for 2012 mid-year entry applications close Saturday 30 June, 2012
- Applicants will be advised by late July of outcome
2013 entry
Closing dates for Rounds 1 & 2 applications into the 2013 Master of Social Work are listed below.
- Round 1: Submission for round one applications close Friday 28 September, 2012
- Round 2: Submission for round two applications close Friday 23 November, 2012*
*Worried that you won’t have your final 2012 undergraduate results in time for the cut off dates?
Applications can still be submitted by the closing date and they will be considered on confirmation of your results.

Local applicants
Local applicants (Australian and New Zealand citizens and Australian permanent residents) should apply directly to the University through the online application system.

Indigenous applicants
The University's Centre for Indigenous Education (CIE) offers assistance and support with course and scholarship applications.
International applicants
International applicants should apply through the University of Melbourne’s International Admissions Office. Applicants can apply online, download an application form or request a form be sent.
International applicants are advised to contact the Department of Immigration, Multicultural and Indigenous Affairs (DIMIA) at the nearest Australian Diplomatic Mission for advice about visas and immigration.
